Industrial Visit of the Students of the Department of Fashion Design and Technology, Premier University.

The 2nd batch students of the Department of Fashion Design and Technology, Premier University, participated in an industrial visit to Four H Dyeing and Printing Ltd. on Saturday, 15 November 2025. The main objective of this visit was to introduce the students to real industrial environments, production processes, and modern textile technologies. The students visited the company’s knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, testing lab, and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), where they directly observed each step of textile processing. This experience strengthened their theoretical knowledge and provided them with a deeper understanding of the practical applications in the textile industry.

During the visit, Engineer Golam Kibria, Head of the Knitting Department, and Md. Azad, Assistant Manager of the Compliance Department of Four H Dyeing and Printing Ltd., provided detailed information on various technical processes, operational steps of machinery, safety measures, and compliance standards. Their guidance made the visit more educational and enriching.

The visit was supervised by Assistant Professor Afroza Rahman and Lecturer S. M. Tousif from the Department of Fashion Design and Technology. They provided academic guidance throughout the visit and explained various practical aspects of the textile industry. On behalf of the department, they expressed gratitude to Four H Group for their sincere cooperation and stated that such industrial visits play a vital role in enhancing students’ professional preparedness, practical skills, and strengthening academia-industry linkage.
