Delegation of Ispahani–Prothom Alo Inter-University Football Tournament Meets Premier University Vice-Chancellor.

The Ispahani–Prothom Alo Inter-University Football Tournament 2025 is set to take place in the country in the coming days. A total of 46 universities are participating—28 from Dhaka, 10 from Chattogram, and 4 each from Khulna and Rajshahi regions. Premier University is among the 10 participating teams from Chattogram.

From the regional rounds, 10 teams will be selected for the quarterfinals—4 from Dhaka and 2 each from Chattogram, Khulna, and Rajshahi. From these 10 teams, the champion and runner-up will be determined through the final competition to be held in Dhaka.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM, a delegation from the Ispahani–Prothom Alo Inter-University Football Tournament 2025 met with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Premier University, Professor S. M. Nasrul Quadir, bringing along the championship trophy. The meeting took place at the university’s GEC campus.

The delegation included Ashfaq Hossain Ashiq, Afif Ibrahim, and Tithi Talukder. Also present during the occasion were the university’s Registrar, Mr. Md. Iftekhar Monir; Directorate Students’ Welfare Advisor, Dr. Abdur Rahim; members of the Premier University Sports Committee; and the Premier University Football Team.
