abdullah.ssd@puc.ac.bdAbdullah Al Mozahid is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Sustainable Development at Premier University, Chittagong. He received the SAARC Silver Jubilee Scholarship to pursue his M.A. in Sociology at South Asian University, New Delhi, specializing in Food Anthropology, after completing his B.S.S. (Honors) in Sociology at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University. His research interests include food anthropology, agroecology, peasantry, and the environment, with a particular focus on ethnography. He has studied the social construction of the quality (or goodness) of rice and is currently exploring the cultural embeddedness of Mezban in the Chittagong region. With two years of teaching experience, he brings both passion and expertise to his field, blending research and classroom practice to explore how food, culture, and society intersect in shaping sustainable futures.
